Skyline Traineeship programme
Every year we offer over 100 challenging traineeship opportunities at our four sites (our Brussels HQ, our Aviation Learning Centre in Luxembourg, our Upper Area Control Centre in Maastricht and our Innovation Hub in Brétigny near Paris) aimed at talented and motivated students and young graduates who are looking for valuable professional experience within one year of completing their studies. We offer our trainees a stimulating international and multiculatural work environment and provide a highly competitive package that at the same time strives to achieve a great work-life balance.
We will help you turn your academic knowledge and natural talent into professional skills, expertise and experience, learning from our worldclass experts and getting ready to kickstart your career.
We offer two intakes per year, in April and October, each with a 6-month duration and the potential for extensions to up to 12 months.
Traineeships are offered in a wide range of areas of expertise including:
- Air Traffic Management & Data
- IT & Cybersecurity
- Communications
- Economic and Financial Management
- Legal and Regulatory Affairs
- Human Resources and Administration
Are you eligible?
To be eligible for any of our traineeship, you must comply with all of the following conditions:
- Nationality: You must be a national of one of the EUROCONTROL or ECAC Member States.
- Education: You are currently studying for a post-secondary educational qualification (Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD level). If you have graduated, the traineeship must start within one year after your date of graduation.
- Language skills: Our working languages are English and French. To do a traineeship, you will need to have a good command of English (both written and verbal). Knowledge of French is a great asset, but not always a must.
- No previous traineeships longer than 6 months at EUROCONTROL: If you have previously completed a traineeship with EUROCONTROL lasting less than 6 months and are still within 1 year of completing your studies, you remain eligible for an additional traineeship period of up to 6 months. However, this extension is not applicable if a previous traineeship has already exceeded 6 months or if you have completed your studies more than 1 year ago.
