AIRAC information and flight planning support

Helping you further improve flight planning.

EUROCONTROL's Maastricht Upper Area Control Centre (MUAC) is responsible for the airspace above FL245 within Brussels UIR, Amsterdam FIR and Hannover UIR. This includes airspace and traffic flow design due to which we contribute to the content of national Aeronautical Information Publications (AIPs) and the Route Availability Document (RAD).

If you are an aircraft operator or a computerised flight planning service provider (CFSP) and you need assistance with regard to flight planning, routeings through the MUAC airspace or RAD restrictions which contain the designator YX, contact us and we will support you by providing more information on specific issues.

AIRAC brief

At MUAC, we support your preparation of the next aeronautical information regulation and control (AIRAC) period. The bespoke MUAC aircraft operators AIRAC brief informs aircraft operators and CFSPs about significant changes in routings and RAD restrictions in the MUAC airspace. The brief aims to support the monthly update of route databases and a smooth transition to a new AIRAC (Aeronautical Information Regulation and Control). The latest issue is available for download below.

FPL Support

In order to support your flight planning process or the data maintenance of your flight planning system, MUAC provides you with a comprehensive overview on routings crossing the MUAC airspace. The currently effective data is available for download below.
