AIRAC information and flight planning support

Helping you further improve flight planning.

EUROCONTROL's Maastricht Upper Area Control Centre (MUAC) is responsible for airspace and traffic flow design in its area of responsibility. This involves several aspects of operations planning and therefore we contribute to the content of national Aeronautical Information Publications (AIPs) and the Route Availability Document (RAD).

If you are an aircraft operator or a computerised flight planning service provider (CFSP) and you need assistance with regard to flight planning, routeings through the MUAC airspace or RAD restrictions which contain the designator YX, contact us and we will support you by providing more information on specific issues.

Our support

The bespoke MUAC aircraft operators AIRAC brief informs aircraft operators and CFSPs about significant changes in routeings and RAD restrictions in the MUAC airspace. The brief aims to support the monthly update of route databases and a smooth transition to a new AIRAC (Aeronautical Information Regulation and Control).

If you have any questions regarding flight planning, free route airspace, RAD, or related topics, please contact us. By exchanging your and our points of view on these specific topics, we will identify the most favourable routeings and improvements to traffic flows together.
