The Voice Logging System records all communication exchanged via the Voice Communication System (VCS), Back-up VCS (BVCS), Last Resort Radio System and the phones inside the MUAC OPS room (PABX). The Voice Communication Systems are used for voice communication within the Air Traffic Services (ATS) network and consist of the radio frequencies for controller - pilot communication and phones for ground-ground communication.
The conversations from the Maastricht Upper Area Control Centre Operations Room with EUROCONTROL's stakeholders are recorded on a 24/7 basis in Maastricht in order to monitor the content in case it is deemed necessary to re-visit the conversation(s).
