Performance Review Report (PRR) 2000

This fourth Performance Review Report of the Performance Review Commission examines European air traffic management (ATM) performance during the year 2000 and presents a first comparison between the European and the U.S. ATM systems.

Annexes

The annexes document expands on topic, including safety definitions, bottlenecks, air traffic flow management (ATFM) data, en-route ATFM delay maps, cost tables, capacity constrained airports, follow-up to the recommendations in the main report and a list of air navigation service providers.

Background

This report has been produced by the Performance Review Commission (PRC). The PRC was established by the Permanent Commission of EUROCONTROL in accordance with the ECAC Institutional Strategy 1997. One objective of this strategy is 'to introduce a strong, transparent and independent performance review and target setting system to facilitate more effective management of the European ATM system, encourage mutual accountability for system performance.'
