Contributing factors

  • Communication system failure on 01 September in France generated delays in all French ACCs;
  • Convective activity impacted operations in Marseille, Barcelona, Zagreb and Vienna ACCs;
  • High delays due to capacity/staffing in Karlsruhe, Budapest and Marseille ACCs;
  • Thunderstorms generated high delays at Palma de Mallorca and Barcelona airports.
