In the summer months, MUAC successfully managed the highest volume of traffic since the pandemic, with 5,295 flights per day (May-October). In addition, a new daily traffic record was set on 04 July with 5,831 flights.
2025 also saw continued operational enhancements, technical innovations and milestones such as:
- the new airspace structure over the Netherlands and northwest Germany, as well as the straightening of the boundary between MUAC and Reims ACC,
- the partnership with GATE Aviation Training in Copenhagen to deliver initial training for the next generation of air traffic controllers,
- a German Heron TP unmanned aerial vehicle successfully operating for the first time within airspace controlled by MUAC, reflecting the ongoing commitment to support military airspace users.
MUAC concluded the year with its annual customer consultations, where representatives from airlines, military partners, and CFSPs engaged with the MUAC team and the positive feedback and encouragement received reaffirmed the value of MUAC's work and commitment to excellence.
