Performance through innovation
MUAC 2024 Annual Report Cover

In 2024, MUAC has continued to prioritise safety, successfully managing the secure passage of over 5500 flights per day during the peak summer season and has an outstanding safety record, which is a direct result of the dedication and meticulous efforts of MUAC's staff and partners.

Looking further back through the year, MUAC continued to excel and innovate across various domains, earning recognition for its dedication to excellence.

Many cutting-edge technological advancements and operational enhancements were achieved in 2024:

  • the recognition at Airspace World of the implementation of the iFMP flow management toolset at the Karlsruhe Upper Area Centre,
  • the implementation of LORD, a 3D probe and solution space display, an innovative tool that provides enhanced visualisation and decision-making capabilities in real time for ATCOs, and
  • the introduction of ATS B2 datalink capability, an initiative that reflects MUAC's ongoing commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.

MUAC concluded the year with its annual customer consultations, where representatives from airlines, military partners, and CFSPs engaged with the MUAC team and the positive feedback and encouragement received reaffirmed the value of MUAC's work and commitment to excellence.

As we reflect on these accomplishments, I extend my deepest gratitude to each member of the MUAC team for their dedication, professionalism, and relentless pursuit of excellence. Together, we have demonstrated our ability to innovate, collaborate, and deliver exceptional results, positioning MUAC as a leader in the aviation industry.
