2016 was marked by a staggering and non-forecasted traffic increase across MUAC airspace. Furthermore, adverse weather conditions over the summer heavily impacted the Centre's operations and service delivery especially in congested areas. Despite these hits on the capacity and economic cost-effectiveness targets, MUAC managed to minimise the effect of factors beyond its control such as changes to traffic patterns and route-charges and maintain a high level of service provision to our customers.
Throughout the year, our main focus was dealing with the higher-than-predicted traffic growth while providing excellent customer services. Business relationships were further reinforced with bespoke and plenary customer consultation meetings. Key account customers’ satisfaction was ensured through a multi-level engagement programme with each company – at daily operations, managerial and political levels.
