The FLOW CONOPS contributes to the achievement of network-related objectives as defined in Common Project One (CP1), as referred to in Commission Implementing Regulation 2021/116.
The FLOW CONOPS details the expected enhancements for flow processes, as described in the High-Level Network Operations Framework for 2029.
The FLOW CONOPS lists advanced ATFM operational concepts and serves as a basis for drafting and making available the new system requirements to the iNM contractor, which will be paramount for the enhancement of flow processes over the next 25 years. The aim is to manage the NMOC Network Services provided to stakeholders and to help mitigate the consequences of network traffic congestions en-route and at airports, in terms of ATFM delays and environmental issues.
This CONOPS may also be used by all relevant network actors to drive their planning and investments in order to achieve a harmonised implementation of systems supporting future ATFM processes in coordination with the Network Manager.
