A number of traffic records were set during the week with 5 States, 7 Area Control Centres and 4 airlines / airline groups exceeding their previous daily record.
With 36,554 flights on average every day during the week, traffic was up 1% on the previous week and 3% on 2025.
Other highlights from Week 30 include:
- 72% arrival punctuality up 3.2pp vs W29 and up 7pp vs 2025
- 3.10 minutes per flight ATFM delay, down 29% vs W29 and down 44% vs 2025
- 51,586 flights delayed by ATFM restrictions (7,369 flights a day and 20% of all flights)
Network hot spots: to date France has generated 31% of en-route delays, Spain has generated 18% of en-route delays and Greece 12%. With traffic peaks of over 37,500 flights expected on Fridays until the end of August, adherence by air navigation service providers to their planned Network Operations Plan (NOP) capacity commitments is critical.
