BADA consists of a set of aircraft models used at the EEC for aircraft trajectory simulation. The results show that the 64 aircraft types within BADA 2.2 cover 84.2% of the European air traffic. The addition of 9 types would raise the coverage to 90%.
Coverage of 1994 European air traffic by BADA
The air traffic statistics in the European core area for 1994 are used to determine the coverage of European air traffic by the Base of Aircraft Data (BADA) Revision 2.2.
