Consultation – Draft EUROCONTROL Specification for Airport Collaborative Decision Making Edition 1.0

As required by the EUROCONTROL Regulatory and Advisory Framework (ERAF), this draft specification is now being submitted to formal stakeholder consultation until 1 November 2024 using the mechanisms of the EUROCONTROL Standards Development Process.

The formal consultation enables all states, stakeholders and interested parties to express their formal views on the draft EUROCONTROL Specification.

The draft edition 1.0 of the “EUROCONTROL Specification for Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM)” describes the requirements of Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) to support its implementation at an airport.

This Specification contributes to the implementation of the essential requirements of the EASA Basic Regulation and enables the implementation of the CP1 Regulation 2021/116.

A-CDM focuses especially on aircraft turn-round and pre-departure processes.  By linking the inbound flight with the outbound flight in the Airport CDM System the process tracks the progress of the outbound flight using a continuous sequence of significant events, known as milestones. These milestones are triggers for updating downstream estimates, issuing alert messages and notifications, etc. This process enables a CDM Airport to provide accurate estimates of take-off time to the Network Manager.

The draft Specification submitted to consultation can be found below. The submission of responses and comments to this consultation is solely supported by the Standards Development Consultation On-line Platform.
