Broadband Aeronautical Mobile Communication system (B-AMC)

B-AMC stands for the Broadband Aeronautical Mobile Communication system using OFDM multiplexing scheme and FDD duplexing.

This system has been identified to be the baseline of the L-DACS1 candidate for the future L-band aeronautical system that may be used for handling data communications of the FCI continental system. More information regarding Eurocontrol work on this technology can be found in the following documents.
