Network management cybersecurity

This project reinforces the EUROCONTROL Network Manager (NM) security infrastructure by introducing methodologies and tools in compliance with security standard ISO/IEC 27001 on Information Security Management.

The project provides a framework that applies a risk assessment process and includes people, processes and IT systems.

The following improvements to our current systems will be implemented as part of this project: 

• Information Security Management System (ISMS): Implementing an ISMS will also require defining policies, conducting risk assessments and establishing security monitoring and management tools and procedures.
• Security Operations Centre (SOC): Set-up a SOC to prevent, detect and respond to security incidents.

The project will ensure that our NM IT infrastructure remains protected against cyber attacks. We will improve our capabilities to prevent, detect and respond to security incidents and will ensure that we are compliant with current and future information security standards.
