Wishing all ATSEPs a happy ATSEP Day

Air traffic safety electronics professionals keep aviation mission-critical ops systems running smoothly 24/7 around the world.

Today, we celebrate the work of air traffic safety electronics professionals (ATSEPs) around the world – and closer at home too, in our EUROCONTROL Maastricht Upper Area Control Centre (MUAC) and in the EUROCONTROL Network Manager (NM).

To mark the day this year, EUROCONTROL has invited four of our ATSEPs working in MUAC to ask them why they chose their profession – and what makes the their jobs special.

In aviation, ATSEPs are the quiet force behind operational safety – the steady hands that keep mission-critical ops systems running smoothly 24/7 around the world, and the quick thinkers who solve problems even before they even arise.

A profound thank you to all ATSEPs and to IFATSEA, the association that ensures their global voice, from everyone at EUROCONTROL and on behalf of the entire sector.
