The integrated Network Management (iNM) programme is designed to move NM’s legacy systems towards digital products based on an open digital platform, bringing innovative capabilities that harness artificial intelligence, robotic process automation, data analytics, and so on. Through it, NM aims to stay at the forefront of the air traffic management (ATM) environment, embarking on what Iacopo Prissinotti, Director Network Management, calls “a significant journey with important deliverables that will happen very quickly”.
EUROCONTROL Network Manager launches massive Call for Tender to build tomorrow’s ops systems

EUROCONTROL launched its largest-ever Call for Tender to replace the operational systems used by the EUROCONTROL Network Manager (NM). We’re looking for industrial partners capable of partnering with us to deliver state-of-the-art digital solutions that will underpin our air traffic management services and ensure we continue to manage efficiently both the ever growing European aviation network and to enrich the way we interface with our operational stakeholders.

While the program will span ten years until 2029, it involves the incremental renewal of all NM’s main operational systems, putting in place a digital architecture in which new components will run in parallel with legacy systems, with the first deliverables expected in 2023.
