If you’re a CPDLC user, we’d love to hear from you
We’re currently in the process of gathering feedback from operational users of the Controller-Pilot Data Link Communications (CPDLC) in order to see how satisfied users are with the service.
The survey results will analysed by the Data Link Performance Monitoring Group (DPMG), and will also serve as a measure of satisfaction for the SESAR Deployment Manager which is tasked with implementing and recovering CPDLC.
With this in mind, if you are a regular CPDLC user, we would very much appreciate you taking a few minutes to fill out our survey.
Controller-Pilot Data Link Communications (CPDLC) is an aeronautical telecommunications network (ATN) air/ground data-link application operated at the Maastricht Upper Area Control Centre (MUAC) and more than a dozen other air navigation service providers in Europe. Data link via ATN is a secondary communications medium complementing traditional high quality VHF voice communications, which remains the primary means of communication.
