Performance Based Navigation (PBN) exploratory workshop for NETOPS
We kindly invite you to our Performance Based Navigation (PBN) workshop at EUROCONTROL's Headquarters in Brussels on Tuesday, 27 February 2018 (10:00 - 17:00).
The aim of the workshop is to identify the best ways of infomring our stakeholder groups of PBN and thus facilitate its implementation. Our objectives are to:
- identify what PBN information is unclear / missing (knowledge or training gap),
- distinguish between ‘Need to Know’ vs ‘Nice to Know’ information/training and
- identify what ‘Need to know’ (education/training) material and supporting ‘Nice to know’ (awareness) material is required.
The workshop will start with a plenary session to set the scene and end with a similar session to write up conclusions and actions. Between these sessions, Breakout Groups (per stakeholder/domain) will tackle the key objectives through facilitated brainstorming and discussion exercises.
We invite NETOPS and AOT members to join the workshop - active participation will be required. As the workshop is structured in brainstorming sessions, the workshop can accomodate no more than 70 people.
For purposes of security and room capacity, advanced registration is required by 22 December 2017. Registrations are now closed.
An additional shuttle bus will be provided to transport participants from Central Station at 9:00 on 27 February 2018 to EUROCONTROL's Headquarters. In the registration form, please specify whether you will make use of this shuttle.
