Avinor, AirNav Ireland and EUROCONTROL are pleased to announce the Point Merge Stakeholder Event on 3-4 June 2026 at the EUROCONTROL Innovation Hub (EIH), Brétigny, France.
After 20 years since its inception at the EIH, with 15 years of operations at Oslo and 14 at Dublin – the two pioneers – and now with 60 airports using it around the world, Point Merge has become a standard for arrival sequencing.

Why attend
The objective of the event is to share experience and best practice, exchange insights and explore together ways for further improvements.
Target audience
The event is dedicated to operational stakeholders from Europe and other regions, who use or have an interest in Point Merge. This involves air navigation service providers, airspace users, airports, regulatory bodies and related associations.
Event format
The event will take place over two half-days as an in-person event. The programme will focus on presentations from stakeholders, operational exchanges and interactive discussions. A detailed agenda will be published closer to the event.
Presentation opportunities
Stakeholders using Point Merge are strongly encouraged to present their current state of operations, to share their successes as well as lessons learned. Joint presentations delivered together by multiple stakeholders (service providers, airlines, airports, etc.) from the same airport are also welcome.
