Managing Security Risk in ATM

EUROCONTROL's training institute in Luxembourg and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) are teaming up to help make the aviation sector more secure through a week-long course series to help improve air traffic management (ATM) experts' understanding of ATM security and its context. 


Part of ICAO's Security Training Week, the course series offers it's attendees a wealth of EUROCONTROL ATM security know-how. Our lead experts will help guide you through:

  • what it means to conduct a security risk assessment,
  • how to organise basic incident management and
  • how to apply the different steps in the ICAO's ATM Security Manual's RA methodology (Doc. 9985). 

Stakeholders involved in security-related activities (e.g. oversight authorities, project managers, operational and technical staff and safety experts) are invited to register.

The series offers certification or attendance or of accomplishment for those who pass the course's examination.
