The workshop will offer space for discussion with key actors involved in, or impacted by, the integration of IFR RPAS operations, bringing together different perspectives to form a complete picture.

IRINA RPAS solutions: From validation to integration
With the IRINA (IFR RPAS Integration into European Airspace) SESAR 3 JU project approaching its finalisation, the partners shared key conclusions, recommendations and outcomes.
The dedicated workshop took place at EUROCONTROL’s Brussels headquarters on 7 May 2026.
Led by EUROCONTROL, the session highlighted the main contributions of the project partners: CRIDA, DSNA, ENAIRE, HONEYWELL, INDRA, INECO, LFV, SAAB, SAFRAN, THALES AVS and THALES SIX.
Workshop participants learned about:
- Detect and Avoid (DAA) technologies, and interoperability with other ATM systems.
- Safety and Human performance aspects.
- Insights from encounter models and flight activities.
