“The world’s airlines have taken a momentous decision to ensure that flying is sustainable. I look forward to discussing at the EUROCONTROL Aviation Sustainability Summit how, with the collective efforts of the entire value chain and supportive government policies, aviation will achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050.”
“On the path towards sustainability, aviation relies upon a basket of measures. I look forward to EUROCONTROL’s Aviation Sustainability Summit, where we will discuss the proposals and potential solutions that are now on the table.”
“True zero-emission flights are within reach. But the industry can’t do it alone. I am happy that at the EUROCONTROL Aviation Sustainability Summit we will have the opportunity to discuss how regulatory support for green technologies and investments in zero-emission aircraft can help us meet ambitious emissions reduction goals.”
“The Lufthansa Group is currently the biggest purchaser of Sustainable Aviation Fuels in Europe. As we just purchased the first ever industrially produced Power-to-Liquid fuel, Lufthansa Group sets again new benchmarks in carbon-neutral flying. I am looking forward to discussing how the transformation for aviation sustainability can be moved further.”
“Embraer has joined the initiative aiming for net-zero aviation industry by 2050. We are developing a technology road-map to get us there. At the same time Embraer is working to make our current aircraft compatible with 100% sustainable aviation fuel and to continuously improve the fuel efficiency of our aircraft. I am delighted to join fellow aviation executives at EUROCONTROL’s Aviation Sustainability Summit to discuss the way forward to decarbonise aviation.”
“EASA is working closely with the aviation industry to certify and approve products while maintaining the highest standards for safety in the world. I look forward to discussing with industry representatives at EUROCONTROL’s Aviation Sustainability Summit how we can best cooperate in the future to ensure Europe is ahead of the curve when it comes to technology that will decarbonise aviation.”
“We have the technology to decarbonise transport. Inaction is our biggest threat. At the Summit I want to discuss with decision-makers in aviation how we can make this a reality.”
“The technology deployed in a fleet, and how efficiently that technology is operated, makes the difference when it comes to competitiveness and lower fuel burn. Let’s discuss at the Summit!”
“Solar Impulse Foundation wants to accelerate the adoption of cleantech solutions that boost economic growth. I look forward to present some of our recent work at EUROCONTROL’s Aviation Sustainability Summit!“
