Drones Impact on Network Operational Safety Working Group Workshop

From reactive towards proactive drone threat management

This high-level workshop brings together senior experts from aviation, law enforcement and regulatory organisations to address the evolving safety risks to aviation operations by unauthorised drones.

The discussions will focus on:

  • The operational risks associated with unauthorised drone activity
  • Current mitigation strategies and technological developments & the needs to further improve this in the future
  • Strengthening organisational resilience through coordinated action and cross-sector cooperation

Participants from across the aviation ecosystem - including aircraft operators, airports, air navigation service providers (ANSPs), aviation authorities and law enforcement agencies - will exchange perspectives and best practices. The workshop aims to support a shift from reactive incident management toward proactive and collaborative threat mitigation.
