Aviation is at a crossroads, with major challenges facing the sector as a whole and airports in particular. Sustainability, capacity, and digitalisation – all of these are hot topics for airports and aviation in general.
EUROCONTROL has taken the initiative, in collaboration with ACI EUROPE, to tackle these big issues at our high-level conference, Digitally Connected Airports – Meeting the Capacity Demand 2030.
Attendance
The conference was aimed squarely at the policy makers seeking to steer our industry. We brought together the C-suite of the aviation chain including airline CEOs, airport CEOs, Directors General of Civil Aviation and other senior aviation industry representatives.
This is the must-attend airport event,

“ACI EUROPE is delighted to be supporting EUROCONTROL’s Digitally Connected Airports Conference where top aviation players are coming together to share perspectives and discuss the key challenges facing airports.
Looking ahead, there are many issues which will affect airport operations and our license to grow. Widespread concern and questions about climate change and sustainability are already beginning to chip away at the value of aviation.
Ultimately, this may not just be about our license to grow, but also about our license to keep operating. On the other hand, there is a lot that can be done to enhance operations at and around airports. We can improve the passenger experience by connecting airports to the wider network and leverage data and artificial intelligence.
We look forward to seeing many of you at this key event!”
