2024 Local Single Sky Implementation+ (LSSIP+) event

The event will bring together national focal points and experts involved in the air traffic management (ATM) modernisation implementation planning and monitoring activities carried out by EUROCONTROL together with the SESAR Deployment Manager and in collaboration with ICAO's European and North Atlantic (EUR/NAT) Office.

This year, the focus will be on planned and monitored ATM evolutions, such as CP1 and 2024 SDP update, the EUROCONTROl Implementation Plan and Report 2024 (EPAIR), and ICAO ASBUs update. We will also look at the path towards unified planning and monitoring, including CP1 and FF-ICE planning and monitoring integration, support to CNS PM reporting and monitoring, and alignment with the Surveillance questionnaire.

In the afternoon, EUROCONTROL will present the timeline for the 2024 cycle and improved guidance material, as well as provided an outlook on the future of the European ATM modernisation activities.

Video and webinar for newcomers

On 26 September 2024 we organised a LSSIP+ webinar for all newcomers to the process. The objective of the webinar was to get a good understanding of the process and to allow an efficient contribution to the 2024 cycle.

Newcomers were introduced to ATM modernisation monitoring activities and the LSSIP+ process details, while more experience LSSIP process practitioners used it as a re-fresher.
