Being EUROCONTROL
We see everyone at EUROCONTROL as an ambassador for our values. They’re behind everything we do at work and how we do it, as we look to deliver the best possible outcomes to the aviation community.
We’re passionate about:
Diversity
Composed of nationals from our 42 Member States, we know that a wide-ranging selection of views, opinions, and backgrounds are the essence of a dynamic and high-achieving work environment. As one of our core values, it’s what makes our organisation such an exciting, fun and career-empowering place.
Our Stakeholders
EUROCONTROL’s stakeholders come from all parts of the aviation sector and beyond, and your role will be to help us support European aviation 24/7 to keep the European aviation network operating as smoothly, safely and efficiently as possible.
Integrity
We expect all EUROCONTROL staff to act in a neutral and impartial manner at all times. Integrity is also one of our core leadership values: we put honesty and fairness at the heart of how we treat our staff.
Readiness To Change
We need to be adaptable, forward-thinking, and ready to handle any new challenge that emerges in the aviation sector. A big part of this is staying one step ahead and being able to come up with new, efficient solutions which can be adapted to fit the needs of our stakeholders.
Driving Results
Achieving objectives and delivering for our stakeholders even in the face of adversity and challenging situations is vital at EUROCONTROL. We have to deliver the highest quality to our stakeholders while efficiently managing time and costs.
Salary, allowances & career progression
From competitive salaries, travel and relocation compensations, to flexible working, training courses, pension and medical coverage, we take the time to invest in you and make sure you are competitively remunerated in line with the job level and the experience you bring. Here are three key ways we compensate, reward and promote our staff members:
Our competitive salaries reflect the expertise you bring to our team and give you a perfect platform to take your career to the next level. In addition to your base salary, we also offer excellent compensation and support packages. You’ll find a simulation in the Notice of Competitions. Under certain circumstances, successful candidates can also get relocation allowances to make the move and installation easier for you and your family.
For those with dependants, you’ll also get a monthly allowance adjusted to your specific situation. There will also be possibilities for career progression when you’re ready to take on new responsibilities at EUROCONTROL or to reflect exceptional performance.
Flexible working
To allow you to have the best possible work-life balance, we actively promote flexible working arrangements.
Leave
In addition to public holidays, you get a base of two days of leave per month, with your total leave days adjusted upwards by the amount of time you have been with us, your role, and your age.
Parental & family leave
Everyone has responsibilities outside work. We offer flexible working so you can fit your professional work around personal needs.
Maternity & adoption leave
For those special first moments, we will also provide 24 weeks of maternity or adoption leave as and when you need it.
Medical coverage
Our flexible insurance scheme automatically covers your medical expenses and possibly those of your family members, depending on their personal situation. Had an accident? We will cover that too.
Pension Scheme
We have you covered even after your long and rewarding career with us. We offer fantastic pension schemes that reflect your time with us, and a final salary scheme to compensate you for your long-term role in our team.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI)
We are committed to creating a workplace where individuality is recognised, differences are valued, and every voice is embraced. At EUROCONTROL, the diverse talents and ideas of our people are key to our success as we aim to shape the future of aviation. If you are passionate about making a meaningful impact, we invite you to join us — and help us build an inclusive, diverse, and forward-thinking organisation that is a role model for our sector. Explore our current job opportunities and become part of our journey!
Championing gender balance
Recognising the historic underrepresentation of women in aviation, EUROCONTROL has taken proactive steps to address this imbalance, such as joining IATA's "25by2025" initiative, which aims to increase the proportion of women in technical, managerial, and decision-making roles by 25% by 2025, or by partnering ICAO in building diversity into the next generation of aviation professionals, or by our own efforts to reach out to schools and universities to highlight the amazing jobs on offer in our sector. All are part of our broader strategy to create an inclusive environment at EUROCONTROL where all employees can thrive, and to be a role model in our sector.
Diversity in all its dimensions
At EUROCONTROL, we welcome diversity in all its forms, recognising it as a vital strength that drives innovation, fosters excellence, and enables our organisation to thrive.
For us, diversity goes beyond visible differences. It encompasses the full spectrum of individual identities and experiences — including, but not limited to, gender, age, nationality, native language, sexual orientation, ethnic origin, culture, disability, neurodiversity, religion, marital and family status, education, professional background, working patterns, and lived experiences.
By embracing diversity in all its dimensions, we create an environment where every individual can contribute their unique perspective and talents to our shared success.
Championing DEI
At EUROCONTROL, we are proud to bring together a wide range of nationalities, backgrounds, and perspectives to foster a truly diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace. As a pan-European organisation, collaboration across differences is at the heart of everything we do.
To stay at the forefront of diversity, equity and inclusion, we actively partner with key organisations in our sector, working together to promote best practices, drive meaningful change, and build an environment where every individual can thrive.
Embracing geographical diversity
Our strength lies in our unity across diverse nations. By attracting top talent from all Member States, we bring together a multitude of perspectives, experiences and ideas. Our geographical diversity enriches our decision-making processes and ensures that we remain responsive to the varied needs of the European aviation sector.
Advancing gender and geographical diversity
At EUROCONTROL, we are dedicated to cultivating a workforce that reflects the rich tapestry of our 42 Member States. We believe that diversity in gender and geographical representation is not just a matter of equity, but a strategic imperative that enhances our effectiveness and innovation
