David Artieda

David Artieda is Head of the Central Secretariat Unit, providing professional support to EUROCONTROL’s governing bodies, their subordinate groups and some of the consultation and advisory groups reporting to the Director General. In addition, the Unit ensures the provision of linguistic services to the Agency and the Organisation ranging from the revision and/or translation of documents to interpretation or to defining ATM/ATC specialised terminology

He joined EUROCONTROL in 2005 as a recruitment expert and occupied the managerial positions of Head of Recruitment and Head of Staff Development. After 12 years working on core HRM activities, he joined the Central Secretariat as a Conference Secretary, taking on in that time an additional role within the Director General’s Private Office as advisor on key internal dossiers.
Prior to joining EUROCONTROL, he worked in a consulting company in advanced technologies as an HR Manager, building on 3 years of practical experience as an aeronautical engineer in various companies. David holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering with an additional 2 years of specialised education in Occupational Psychology and Human Resources Management.
