The TMA2010+ Project works in close cooperation with major ANSPs and Industry, throughout Europe, defining and promoting a range of activities that will lead to the specification of a more advanced and more integrated form of Arrival Management.
This cooperative work is designed to both address ongoing issues in today’s TMA operations, and also to contribute to the SESAR developments and SESAR Implementation Packages as they are put in place, as ATM in Europe moves towards to a more trajectory-based style of operation.

Much of the Project’s work is conducted and enabled through Eurocontrol - ANSP ‘partnership projects’ with individual ANSPs or groups of ANSPs whilst other project work is made possible by the TMA2010+ Project’s participation in external ANSP-sponsored activities.
Because many of the ANSPs working with the project are also actively involved in other SESAR and Episode 3 validation activities, a more ‘global’ view of requirements and developments for TMA operations is possible.
Even if not directly involved in individual items of TMA2010+ Project work, it is expected that all ANSPs should be able to benefit from the specifications and requirements capture that is being done by the TMA2010+ Project and its partners.
