Software Team Karlsruhe |
 |
The mission of the Software Team Karlsruhe (STK) is to maintain the software of the KARLDAP system.
KARLDAP is the Air Traffic Control system used at the Deutsche Flugsicherung (DFS) centre, located in Karlsruhe in south-west Germany. The Karlsruhe Upper Area Control Centre (KUAC) is responsible for Rhein UIR (Upper flight Information Region), a major part of the upper air space of Germany above 25,000 feet. Excluded from this area are the north-west corner (Hannover UIR) and the south-east corner (Munich UIR), controlled from Maastricht and Munich respectivly.
1,348,343 IFR flights were controlled by KUAC in 2009, with an average delay of 0.6 minutes per flight. |
