The ESP, launched on 28/02/06, builds upon the success of its predecessor, the European Strategic Safety Action Plan (SSAP). It aims at improving European ATM safety maturity across the ECAC region to a common minimum level by December 2008. The ESP is a structured programme containing 5 High Priority Activity Fields covering safety management, safety regulation and some relevant technical areas. Special emphasis will be placed on incident reporting in a “just culture” environment. |
