Radio frequency spectrum is a limited resource while an increasing number of user communities request new frequency allocation. Thus the global aviation spectrum needs to be defended in order to secure sufficient capacity for existing and future aeronautical systems and ensuring that radio emissions from non-aeronautical systems do not cause harmful interference to, or degrade the quality of, aeronautical systems. This is precisely the objective and mission of the Spectrum Management Activities that are presented on this site.
