Tools
A number of tools are available for the LSSIP, all of them related to the LSSIP parts of the “ESSIP Objectives implementation”. The most important part is the LSSIP Database HMI, supplemented by the LSSIP Map Tool and the LSSIP Thermometer Dashboard.
We are investigating the possibility of using similar IT tools for LSSIP parts which are related to “SES Legislation Implementation”. Please note that, at present, airspace users have a different tool for inserting LSSIP information.

The LSSIP Database HMI is a web-based tool. It is used by States’ LSSIP focal points, national specialists and EUROCONTROL’s LSSIP contact people to update the detailed information on the States' progress and plans for achieving the ESSIP Objectives (as shown in the LSSIP Level 1 Part 2 “ESSIP Objectives Implementation” and the LSSIP Level 2).
The arrangements for access (read/only or read/write) are agreed between each Contact Person and the State Focal Point.
Although it has some reporting functionalities, it is not a consultation tool but a working tool to input data into the Agency's LSSIP Central Database and so access rights are restricted. Access for national stakeholders is granted 'de facto' to all States' LSSIP focal points, who also have to approve access for other national experts, if and when needed.
This Tool allows you to view the implementation progress for all ESSIP Objectives and SLoAs, at the level of State/Airport, Stakeholder and SLoAs, on a map.
LSSIP 2011-2015 information is available and reflected in the current version of the Map Tool.
The Thermometer Dashboard allows users to analyse implementation progress and evolution over the years for all ESSIP Objectives and SLoAs, with pie and bar charts.
