Service unit forecasts

The Service Unit Forecasting service provides all ATM stakeholders with an independent view of service units developments within EUROCONTROL charging areas.

This service aims at  facilitating the establishment of States' unit rates of route charges, including for instance through stakeholder consultations.

Today, EUROCONTROL produces short-term service units forecasts for the individual charging areas of States participating in the Multilateral Agreement  four times a year (schedule below). The methodology is primarily based on time-series analysis (or statistical forecasting).
