Airspace Infringement Initiative Events

Events 2008

04 April 2008 - General & Business Aviation Forum, EUROCONTROL, Brussels

The General Aviation & Business Aviation Day was held at the EUROCONTROL HQ on 4 April 2008. It provided an excellent opportunity to present to the GA community the draft product of the Airspace infringement initiative development phase - the European action plan for airspace infringement risk reduction.
  Acrobat Workshop Presentation

24 January 2008 - Airspace Infringement Workshop, EUROCONTROL, Brussels

The Airspace infringement workshop – Mastering the European Solution - is considered a major step towards the achievement of the Airspace Infrigements Initiative objective. It cumulates the efforts undertaken by various stakeholders (civil and military service providers, GA establishments, Agency) during the risk analysis phase aimed at the identification of the actual causal factors and promising risk mitigation strategies and means.

The workshop took place on 24 January 2008 at EUROCONTROL in Brussels and enabled:
  • Consolidation of the knowledge acquired in the initiative development phase
  • Identication of the potential impact of planned ATM developments in the short and medium term on the airspace infrigement risk
  • Identification of safety improvement recommandations to support the establishment of a European action plan for airspace infringement risk reduction.
