Safety Nets Workshop 2006
The first Safety Nets Workshop took place on 3 and 4 October at the EUROCONTROL Institute for Air Navigation Services (IANS) in Luxembourg. The workshop was attended by 93 representatives from ATM Safety Regulators, ANSPs, Industry and other organisations. The participants recommended to organise annual workshops on the topic.

The theme for the 2006 Safety Nets Workshop was "are you ready for action on Short Term Conflict Alert?".

At the beginning of the workshop participants were provided with an USB memory stick that contained all relevant existing documentation. Some documentation was still work-in-progress and presentation material was not yet included. The memory stick therefore has to be updated regularly in order the have the most up to date information on STCA.

The zip files below contain the original files and the successive updates. The files should be extracted to the memory stick (or to any directory on your PC) in the indicated order, allowing older files to be overwritten. Make sure that the directory structure in the zip file in maintained. Open the file index.pps (a Microsoft PowerPoint slideshow) to access the (mostly PDF) documentation, presentations and demonstrator scenarios.
