ESSIP Report 2014 - A Pan-European assessment of progress in the implementation of the ESSIP objectives

European Single Sky ImPlementation

The 2014 ESSIP report provides different views on the implementation progress of SES and SESAR elements across ECAC. It takes into account FAB aspects, provides insight into implementation of PCP prerequisites, and evaluates the challenges that different ATM stakeholders face in SESAR implementation.

On top of that, this report addresses a number of important issues such as the progress of technological enablers, compliance with the European ATM Master Plan and its level 3 (ESSIP Plan and ESSIP Report), and provides links between the ESSIP objectives and PCP elements. The 2014 ESSIP Report also provides links to RP2 Performance Plans CAPEX information.

This report is the fruit of intense collaboration with airports, ANSPs, Airspace Users, the Network Manager and the manufacturing industry working together under the T007 of SESAR C.02 project, which deals with deployment/performance planning and reporting.
It is the outcome of five months of discussions, during which more than 30 internal and external contributors collaborated to complete it – something we consider one of the best features of this report.
