| Regulation: all provisions have to be complied with |
Following the decision of the Single Sky Committee, a draft Single Sky implementing rule on Aircraft Identification (ACID IR) has been developed in order to provide the necessary regulatory support to the aircraft identification strategy, which has been devised by the Air Navigation Services Board (ANSB) and endorsed by the Provisional Council of EUROCONTROL.

| CCAMS: Central Server ready and available for testing |
 The development of the CCAMS Central Server has been completed by CFMU. The system and system acceptance testing have been performed and the CCAMS CS is under final evaluation for its integration into the existing CFMU services.

| Mode S ELS: Expanding operations |
The implementation of Mode S Elementary Surveillance (ELS) continues within the ACID ELS area of operations and we now see regular daily patterns of city-pair flights to and from declared aerodromes in Germany, the Netherlands and France, all utilising the Mode S downlinked aircraft identity feature as the primary means to acquire and maintain the identification of aircraft.

| E-ORCAM: Double efficiency for departures |
 The E-ORCAM functional requirements have been incorporated in ICAO Doc 023 and are available for E-ORCAM states (currently Malta, Portugal, Slovak Republic and Spain).
