The Single European Sky (SES) and its technological component SESAR (SES ATM Research) are looking further: If we want to accommodate the expected air transport growth in a safe and environmentally sustainable manner, the transformation must be supported at the political level and beyond geographic boundaries.
Europe has seized the opportunity to create a truly global ATM system.
