Through involvement in the LINK 2000+ Pioneer programme a number of airlines are already operating with data link.
Although these aircraft will require an upgrade for compliance with the DLS IR, the experience gained from these airlines is of great value and it will be used to assist other airlines in meeting the requirements of the Data Link Services Implementing Rule.
