The IANS A-SMGCS (Advanced Surface Movement Guidance and Control Systems) workshop runs annually and each year the workshop content is updated and revised to reflect the progress in A-SMGCS development and implementation.

The workshop aims to provide participants with the opportunity to review and discuss A-SMGCS issues. An exhibition by industry and R&D organisations runs concurrently with the workshop and allows participants to view the latest developments and discuss specific airport problems with experts.

This workshop is aimed at ATC, Airport and Airline staff involved in airport surface operations.
