The majority of current Human Performance in R&D work is occurring within SESAR projects. In this section you will find information on the more day to day research and development activities relating to EEC Human Performance work, and CRDS Human Performance work.

The EUROCONTROL Experimental Centre (EEC) is based in Bretigny, near Paris, France. It carries out a portfolio of work programme activities within the four research areas Airport ,Air Traffic Control (ATC), Communications-Navigation-Surveillance (CNS), and Network. The work in each research area is carried out a research area team, which is a sub-unit of the “Core Business" unit.
The EEC Human Factors team works with the research teams supporting safety, validation and human factors projects.

CRDS is the Central European Air Traffic Services (CEATS) Research, Development and Simulation Centre. Based in Budapest, Hungary, the CRDS Human Factors team conducts HF-Analyses in real-time-simulations to validate new concepts, new tools, new working methods or a new Human Machine Interface (HMI).
