The Guidelines for the Competence Assessment of Air Traffic Safety Electonics Personnel (ATSEP) contains information and guidance on the processes to determine ATSEP competence.
The document briefly describes ATSEP Initial and System/Equipment rating training and details assessment processes associated with this training. The document covers the assessment process for the maintenance of competence of ATSEP carrying out safety related tasks on operational systems and equipment, Continuation and Refresher Training assessment, and Development Training assessment.
The document concludes with the training and competence assessment of On-Site Training Instructors (OSTIs) and the Competence Assessor (CA).
