The Audit Board is a standing Board of the EUROCONTROL Commission and ensures an external audit function.
Its members are independent of the Agency, and their scope is to cover all Agency operations. For this purpose, its members are given full access to the relevant EUROCONTROL procedures, decisions and documents.
The Audit Board reports to the Commission via the Provisional Council, or via the enlarged Committee, where the financial management of the Route Charges System is concerned.
The deliberations of all Audit Board meetings are confidential.
