CARE-INO III (2007-2009) Projects
The Innovative Research Advisory Board (IRAB) selected 7 projects from the 23 submitted for possible funding from 2007 onwards.

A presentation on the selection was given at the 5th Innovative Research Workshop.

The selected projects have started and were presented at the 6th Innovative Research Workshop in December, 2007.

4 projects were recommended for continuation:
  HTML Aircraft-based Concept Developments
  HTML Dynamic Cost Indexing
  HTML Safety Modelling and Analysis of Organizational Processes in Air Traffic
  HTML 3D-2D Planar View Display
The IRAB advised starting one of the two reserve projects:
  HTML Future Airport Strategies
The other reserve project, Collective Intelligence for Free Flight, was not funded beyond its first year.
Two projects were stopped after a one-year feasibility phase:
  HTML Towards Fault-tolerant Co-operative ATM
  HTML The Co-ordinated Airport Through Extreme Decoupling
One project ended:
  HTML Estimation of En-route Aircraft Emissions with Remote Sensing Tools
Presentations on the status of the remaining CARE projects were given at the 7th Innovative Research Workshop.
