Recommendations for human machine interfaces in ATC |
EUROCONTROL recommendations include stripless environments, the use of colours, interaction through the radar label using a mouse and the use of graphical displays.
Indeed, in an advanced ATM system, where the controller will handle an increased amount of traffic, he/she will, to a much greater extent, rely on new features in the automated system to be able to handle the traffic.
In order to interact with the new system features, which will give the required assistance to the controller, a new vision on HMI is required.
