EUROCONTROL had developed, under mandate from the European Commission, a draft Implementing Rule related to Aeronautical Data Quality between 2005 and 2007. The draft final report was delivered to the EC in Oct 2007. On 14 October 2009, the Single Sky Committee gave its unanimous support to this new interoperability Implementing Rule. A press release has been published by us on 27 October 2009.
The objective of this workshop is to raise awareness concerning this new ADQ Implementing Rule (IR) and to enable proactive implementation steps by ensuring early participation in all related activities supported by the Agency.
The ADQ launch event is intended as joint European Commission/EUROCONTROL event to highlight the partnership approach to SES.
