Skyway is EUROCONTROL's flagship external magazine

Originally launched in 1996, Skyway has developed into an authoritative voice, examining in depth the major challenges to improving air traffic management performance in Europe and globally.

In 2012, the Skyway magazine will be published every four months as a joint initiative between EUROCONTROL, PMi Media Ltd and Media 7 UK Ltd.

Forthcoming edition

The forthcoming edition of the Skyway (Summer Issue, 57) will focus on airspace users.

In 2020, the airspace will be very different with more capable civil aircraft, avionics improvements, unmanned aircraft, fifth generation fighters, etc. How will these changes be integrated in a busier European airspace?

How will the long-term traffic demand and airspace-user trends evolve over the next few years? What can we do to respond better to airspace user needs on a technical, operational and political level? All this and more will be the focus of the next Skyway issue.

Issue 58 (November 2012) will be dedicated to global interoperability.
