In October 2003, following the success and promising results of the first CARE innovation initiative, a second call for Proposals for innovative ideas focusing on the theme of Innovative and Advanced Technologies for the ATC/ATM of the future was launched. Further information on the call for proposal was discussed at the EEC Innovative Research Workshop on December 11th and 12th 2003.
50 proposals were provided before the deadline of 31st of January 2004 to the CARE Innovative Action leader Mr Marc Brochard.
