Training expertise
EUROCONTROL acts as focus for expertise and provides coordination of the activities of e-learning developers in the European ATM environment. EUROCONTROL also conducts workshops and meetings to address various aspects of harmonised training implementation.
Based on our solid experience in the development and delivery or e-learning, we provide advice on:
- e-learning delivery
- learning management systems
- virtual learning environments
- or any other subject relating to supporting training and learning online.
E-learning is a valuable tool for training organisations looking to reduce training costs, increase training outcomes and harmonise the training delivered.
The E-learning Developers Community of Practice (ElCoP) allows e-learning developers and subject matter experts to:
- discuss e-learning issues
- develop e-learning modules of common interest
- publish and maintain guidelines on best practices in e-learning
- share digital learning components through a common repository.

The Institute conducts workshops and dedicated meetings to address various aspects of harmonised training implementation. This includes :
- ATCO and ATSEP CCC implementation
- training regulations
- the regulators and the CCC
- development of training plans and performance objectives
- application of practical training in basic training
- on-the-job training instructors and simulator instructors.
