Support to Network (NET)

NET is a new activity which is taking its shape.  The NET Unit purpose is to support the EC, EASA and FABs in Network related matters as needs arise from the evolutions of the SES implementation.

NET primarily covers:

• The Network management functions: NET supports the Network Manager in regulatory advice in the preparation of the EASA oversight;
• The FABs : NET supports EC on FAB matters, including initial and continuous assessment of FABs documentation and studies on FAB related matters;
• NET assists EASA in developing advice on SES and SESAR including, specifically, through reviews of safety cases and other safety deliverables produced by SESAR;
• The Performance Review Body (PRB) in assessing the effectiveness of network functions from 2013.
